Reverie: Charlotte Fashion Week

My collection Reverie debuted at Charlotte Fashion Week in September of 2023. Reverie introduced 6 new looks that retain the whimsical and quiet-confidence nature of my senior collection. Selective editing was taken to ensure a streamlined and cohesive collection to present on the runway. Implementing the techniques and skills I learned during my undergrad at NC State, I sketched, patterned, and constructed my new looks in my home in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Jewel tone floral patterns were added to tie in the colors of the collection and elevate its soft and feminine attitude. Editing my original jumpsuit, I chose a cleaner and sleeker silhouette using gold satin to invoke Reveries 70s inspiration. Corsets and drawstrings remained repeating elements in 2 new looks with bolder and more eye-catching silhouettes.
